Aluminum Slide Gates
All aluminum gate frames should be supported from IGD's heavy duty aluminum track and by steel gate trucks with 4 sealed roller bearings. Gate trucks are bolted to two truck hanger brackets which are then bolted to 4" mounting posts. The bottom of gate is kept true and straight with bottom roller gate guides. The continuous aluminum gate track provides an enclosed alley for gate trucks to operate, free from dirt, debris, and weather elements. Pinch points are also virtually eliminated making the aluminum cantilever internal slide gates one of the safest in the industry. Gate frames should be of welded aluminum construction and with vertical, horizontal, and diagonal support to maintain structural integrity. Aluminum slide gates may be used manually or automated with an assortment of gate operators and access control devices.
